History
The Castello di Solfagnano is a noble castle in the beautiful green heart of Italy – Umbria. Located between Florence and Rome just a few miles from Assisi, the Castle’s roots can be traced back to the Middle Ages. It was once a fortified structure from 1100 and was restructured in the sixteenth century by the Antinori family, and once again in the nineteenth century by the Bennicelli family.
The meticulous restoration combined with the sensitivity of the Colaiacovo helped enhance the multi-faceted identity of the structure, redefining the Solfagnano Castle as an ideal location for organizing fairytale weddings, VIP receptions, conventions and fashion events in every season.
The castle makes for a perfect meeting point of cultures to stimulate creativity, with guests telling stories of harmony and beauty within its walls.
